DirectionsAce Internet Explorer Homepage and New Tab

Mindspark Interactive Network offers a browser extension called DirectionsAce that changes the internet explorer homepage and new tab page.

Upon installation, the extensions sets the DirectionsAce search engine as the default for both the homepage and new tab page. With this search engine, users can easily access maps, directions, traffic updates, and more.

The extension also includes quick links to popular destinations, providing convenient access to commonly used websites such as Facebook, Gmail, and YouTube.

Users can customize their new tab page by selecting their preferred background image, which can be either a solid color or an image uploaded by the user. In addition, users can choose to display quick links or not on the page, based on their preferences.

DirectionsAce also offers browser notifications which can display local weather updates or news alerts.

Note that while DirectionsAce is free to use and is compatible with internet explorer versions 7 and above, its installation requires permission to read and change user data on all websites.
